Terms of Service
RNP Consulting has a responsibility to protect each client and to provide the best services available. The following guidelines were designed to ensure these obligations are met.
Content:
All services provided may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party. Pornography and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all our servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere. We will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision. Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to our servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited. Any sites that promote or support illegal activity, offensive material, hate related actions, crimes or subject matter. Links to such materials are also prohibited.
Examples of unacceptable content or links:
- Pirated software or archives
- Pornographic or Pornographic related sites
- Hacker programs or archives
- Warez sites or archives
- Hate Related Sites
RNP Consulting, will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. Any violation may result in immediate suspension of site until removal of material and files or possible termination of contract without a refund.
Commercial Advertising - Email:
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from our server or using an email address or domain that is maintained on our machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited. We will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
Background Running Programs
We may allow programs to run continually in the background. These are considered on a case-by-case basis and an extra charge will be incurred based on system resources used and operational maintenance needed.
IRC
We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers. If an account is found to be using an IRC or IRC bots the account will be deleted from the RNP Consulting Network.
Server Abuse:
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server, or customer is strictly prohibited.
Interruption of Service
You hereby acknowledge and agree that RNP Consulting will not be liable for any temporary delay, outages or interruptions of the services. RNP Consulting shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement, were such delay or failure results from any act of God or other cause beyond its reasonable control (including, without limitation, any mechanical, electronic, communications or third-party supplier failure).
Maintenance
You hereby acknowledge and agree that RNP Consulting reserves the right to temporarily suspend services for the purposes of maintaining, repairing, or upgrading its systems and network. RNP Consulting will use best efforts to notify you of pending maintenance however at no time is under any obligation to inform you of such maintenance.
Backups and Data Loss
Your use of RNP Consulting servers and services is at your sole risk. RNP Consulting is not responsible for files and/or data residing in your hosting account. While complimentary backups "may" be provided by RNP Consulting, You, the Customer agree to take full responsibility for files and data transferred to/from and maintained in your account and agree that it is your own (the Customer's) responsibility to take backups of data residing in your account.
Refusal of Service:
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at our sole discretion. We are committed to running a clean family orientated environment. We do not and will not allow any content that has to do with nudity, pornography, illegal activities, software piracy, profanity, or anything else that would be offensive in any manner. If a domain that is hosted by RNP Consulting is found to be indulging in such activities, we will pull the plug, no questions asked and no refunds. All Sub-Networks, Resellers, distributive hosting sites and dedicated servers must adhere to the above Terms of Service.
Limitation of Liability:
RNP Consulting shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from RNP Consulting's servers going off-line or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Further, RNP Consulting shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any web site from one of RNP Consulting’s servers. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service. RNP Consulting shall be the sole arbiter of what is and is not a violation of these acceptable use Terms of Service. RNP Consulting reserves the right to terminate an account at any time and for any reason that causes harm to any RNP Consulting customer's web sites. RNP Consulting reserves the right to delete all content and files upon termination. RNP Consulting reserves the right to withhold any pre-paid funds for any site removed for violations of these Terms of Service. RNP Consulting reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at our sole discretion. RNP Consulting is not responsible for any damages or orders lost for e-commerce sites due to suspension of service or server down time.
RNP Consulting reserves the right to change these Terms of Service without prior notice or warning. Non-enforcement of any part of these Terms of Service does not constitute consent.

General Billing information
Customers have the option of billing service monthly, quarterly, semiannual or yearly. We accept VISA, Master Card and PayPal. All payments for hosting or any other web services provided by RNP Consulting that are 14 days past due will be subject to suspension of services until payment in full is received. Sites that are over 10 days past due will be charged a $5 reinstatement fee in addition to full balance due to reinstate the site. Suspended sites will be deleted and all files will be removed from the RNP Consulting Network if left suspended for 31 days. Site that are removed for past due balance of more than 31 days or sites that are removed for policy abuse issues are no eligible for any refund of service fees.
Bandwidth Usage
You are allocated a monthly bandwidth allowance. This allowance varies depending on the hosting package you purchase. Should your account pass the allocated amount we reserve the right to suspend the account until the start of the next allocation, suspend the account until more bandwidth is purchased at an additional fee, suspend the account until you upgrade to a higher level of package, terminate the account and/or charge you an additional fee for the overages. Unused transfer in one month cannot be carried over to the next month.
Credit Card Billing (Automated)
If an account has been signed up to pay by credit card our automated system will bill you card monthly, quarterly, semiannual or annual unless you change the billing cycle in your control panel. If a credit card has been declined for any reason our system will attempt to bill the card again in 5 days. If an account has not received payment after 10 days it is subject to suspension. RNP Consulting is not responsible for any bank charges accrued by an overdrawn bank account or any extra bank fees. Sites that are Suspended for more than 7 days will be charged a $19.95 reinstatement fee in addition to balance due to reinstate site. Suspended sites will be deleted and all files will be removed from the RNP Consulting Servers if left suspended for 31 days. Site that are removed for past due balance of more than 31 days or sites that are removed for any policy violation or abuse issues are not eligible for any refund of service fees.
Automatic Renewal
When you sign up, your RNP Consulting account will be enabled with auto-renewal, which means that when your renewal date arrives, your hosting plan and domain will be renewed. When it is time for renewal, the credit card you have on file with us will also be charged. If you wish to not have this happen, and you would not like to renew your account, you must cancel 14 days prior to your renewal date. If you have any questions as to when your renewal date is, simply login to https://secure.rnpconsulting.com. If you fail to cancel 14 days prior to renewal, your account will be renewed for a new term. The renewal fee will become non-refundable as soon as it is charged.
